More than half of the Conway Class of 2011 attended formal presentations this year and announced two gifts to the school. The class is organizing an image data base of landscapes and landscape elements that will be available to students and alums. They also launched an effort to manage invasive plant species on campus and constructed a pit for converting pulled and dug bittersweet and honeysuckle into biochar.
Immediately after Saturday’s presentations, they donned their work clothes and started removing the unwanted plants.
