Boston-based LandVest has appointed Conway alumna Jan Wirth ’11 as project manager for its new Energy and Environmental Assets Group. Wirth’s new position requires applying ecosystem services, carbon credits, species banking, mitigation credits, and related concepts to landscape-scale land conservation.
“My new job comes directly out of our Conway teams” work on both the winter farmland protection project for Bloomfield, Connecticut, and [the feasibility study for the reuse of the land surrounding the decommissioned] Yankee Rowe nuclear facility in Rowe, Massachusetts, in the spring,” noted Wirth.
