Seth Wilkinson ’99 will share his experience managing invasive plant species at the November 16th 
Fall Conference of the MA Association of Conservation Commissions (MACC). Seth will assess the effectiveness of various management strategies in a morning session, and in the afternoon explore how invasive plants contribute to coastal erosion. Seth, whose Orleans, MA-based firm Wilkinson Ecological is renowned for restoration work on Cape Cod, works to strengthen the native maritime plant communities along vulnerable coastal banks.
Other speakers well known to the Conway community will be conservation biologist Elizabeth Farnsworth, Interim Education Director for New England Wild Flower Society, and Julie Richburg, Regional Ecologist for The Trustees of Reservations.
