Come learn about the issues faced by designers and planners in the public realm, and check out alum Jono Neiger’s new book!  We are hosting a public panel and book signing in the A.P.E. Gallery on Main Street in Northampton on the evening of December 5.  Conway alums and visiting faculty will deliver short presentations and discuss topics related to planning and designing for and with communities. Jono Neiger ’03 will moderate the panel, and will also be signing copies of his recently published book, The Permaculture Promise. Click here to learn more about the book.

Panelists will include:

  • Kate Cairoli ‘13, Director of Communications for Open Architecture Houston and research analyst at UCSF
  • Gallagher Hannan ’14, Ecological Designer, Regenerative Design Group
  • CJ Lammers, Visiting Faculty at the Conway School, previous Master Environmental Planner, Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission

Team 2 presented the final design to a well-attended super neighborhood meeting. After the presentation, designers and an OAH board member fielded questions from community members to explain design decisions and the process of community involvement throughout the design phase.
