Student Project Presentations
Friday, May 26, 9am – 5pm
Mill 180, Suite 211
Easthampton, MA
This spring, Conway’s class of 2017 is working on large-scale site design projects in Massachusetts, New York, and Maine. Student teams will present recommendations grounded in site analysis and input from communities and stakeholder groups. We invite a panel of outside critics, and their comments will help guide revisions the students will make over the final weeks of the term. Projects this term include a master plan for Aquinnah Circle (Cape Cod, Massachusetts), designs for the Ashokan Reservoir Day Use Area (upstate New York), a landscape plan for the Belchertown Former State School (western Massachusetts), a site plan for the Front Street industrial mill area (Chicopee, Massachusetts), a master landscape plan for a coastal condominium complex (Falmouth, Maine), and a site plan for an educational center for the Nipmuc tribe (West Brookfield, MA).
We welcome prospective students, prospective clients, alums, members of the community, and anyone else interested in learning about the Conway School to attend.
