Student Project Presentations
Friday, May 24 via ZOOM
Registration Required (see below)

This spring term, Conway’s Class of 2024 is working on nine large-scale site design/site planning projects in towns and cities across Massachusetts. For this set of presentations, students will present works in progress rather than final recommendations. We invite a panel of guest reviewers to the Coach House in Northampton to listen to each team’s presentation and to provide comments, insights, and ideas that help guide revisions the students will make over the final weeks of the term. Members of the public are welcome to join us on Zoom.

Student teams will present for about 25 minutes, followed by 20 minutes of Q&A from the panel of guest reviewers. We will not have time to open the discussion to the audience, but invite you to share your thoughts and ideas in the Zoom chat.

Spring 2024 projects include:

  • Climate Resilience Project, D.W. Field Park, Avon, MA
  • Charlemont Fairgrounds Redesign, Charlemont, MA
  • A Revitalized Home Base for the Greenagers, April Hill, South Egremont, MA
  • Main Street Bridge Climate Resilience Project, Hampden, MA
  • The Harmonium Botanical Sanctuary and Retreat Center, Conway, MA
  • The Nolumbeka Project, Greenfield, MA
  • Rural Food Forest at Double Edge Theatre, Ashfield, MA
  • Urban Food Forest at the Martin Luther King Jr. Charter School, Springfield, MA
  • Restoration and design work, Wainer Woods, Westport, MA

Descriptions of each project can be found here.

We welcome prospective students, prospective clients, alums, and anyone else interested in learning about the Conway School to attend remotely via Zoom.

Join us for all or part of the day on Friday, May 24. Presentations will run from approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm. The Zoom link and schedule will be sent to registrants the week of the event.
