PLEASE NOTE: Registration for the lunch meal on Friday and Saturday has closed. However, you are still welcome to register to attend the presentation sessions in-person on those days.
This fall term, Conway’s Class of 2025 is working on individual ecological design projects in nearby communities. They will present conceptual designs and recommendations grounded in the process of site analysis. The design solutions strive to fit the needs of the clients to the specific ecology of the site while upholding the school’s mission. We invite a panel of outside reviewers, whose comments will help guide revisions the students will make over the final weeks of the term.
Residential projects are located within an hour’s drive of our campus. Properties range in size from small urban and suburban lots to multiple acre rural sites. From drainage issues to structure siting, access issues to concerns about aging in place, projects present the class with a diversity of site conditions and design challenges. Non-residential projects can include libraries, schools, farms, community gardens, and other landscapes open to visitors.
We welcome prospective students, prospective clients, alums, and anyone else interested in learning about the Conway School to attend. You can attend remotely by Zoom, and for the first time since before the pandemic, we are reopening in-person attendance to the public! Please select the in-person option in the registration form if you plan to be here, so that we can know how many people to expect.
