In the spring of 2014, Conway and the Yestermorrow Design/Build School announced a partnership that will help alums of each school continue their design education.

The Conway-Yestermorrow partnership includes a 25% discount for Conway alums who take two-day to two-week-long Yestermorrow courses, and a 10% discount on longer courses. Eligible Yestermorrow programs include workshops such as the two-day Green Roof Design and Installation course or the twelve-day Permaculture Design Certificate. About Yestermorrow

Mission: Yestermorrow Design/Build School inspires people to create a better, more sustainable world by providing hands-on education that integrates design and craft as a creative, interactive process.

Yestermorrow was founded in 1980 by John Connell and a small group of architect friends. The school now offers workshops from two days to two weeks, certificate programs, and a college semester program. These classes cover topics including natural building, sustainable design, energy efficiency and renewables, ecological landscapes, regenerative design, and many more.

Yestermorrow’s courses are specifically designed to demystify the designing and building processes using hands-on, experiential learning to teach students the art and wisdom of good design and the skill and savvy of enduring craftsmanship as a single, integrated process. This creative process offers students unique insight into the oftentimes disparate worlds of the architect and the builder. Combining design and building offers numerous advantages and promotes the creation of intentional and inspired buildings and communities that enhance our world.

Why Attend Both Yestermorrow and Conway?

These two school’s missions complement one another perfectly. Together, we are training designers, planners, and builders who understand a whole-systems approach to analysis, design, and implementation. In our graduates’ hands, these skills are applied to create sustainable buildings, landscapes, and communities.
