Sara Lawler
Landscape Design

Sara Lawler teaches site analysis, site engineering, site design, and graphics at Conway. She has worked professionally at both small and large landscape architecture firms on projects ranging from residential landscaping to large-scale FEMA-funded flood resiliency. Sara is also personally committed to sustainable living and the natural world, an enthusiasm she brings to projects in green infrastructure, sustainable development, and ecological restoration. It was this personal commitment that drove Sara to study landscape design at UMass Amherst’s MLA program after a career in education and undergraduate study in fine arts. At Conway, Sara combines skills from her previous work as an educator and artist with her formal landscape architecture training to provide an engaging and informed design education. She is a licensed landscape architect in the state of Massachusetts and continues to practice professionally.
